That is how I learned, it is 100% the best way, and if you are someone procrastinating about programming, just do it this way. You can get as much or as little help as you need, and in as little as 10 projects done this way you can start coding on your own!

First I went from Lua, then Python and JS.

Lua was also my first programming language. Used to play around on an iPad app called “Codea”. I used to just change numbers and stuff in the example games and see what changed. After I learnt more, I remember being fascinated that I could use parameters in my own functions (before I did everything with global vars). It also helped me so much understanding geometry and math later in school. Note this was when I was about 8 years old.

I came from PHP, but recent years, I grew interest in Python and JS due to ML etc
