How to Best Farm Sealed Feystones in MHWIB - Optimal Method, 100+ Decorations per Hour

Thought I should cover this before moving on to MHRise, so here it is. THE single quickest method for farming sealed feystones in all of Monster Hunter World: Iceborne. In perfect conditions, you're looking at 100+ decorations every hour, though depending on set availability and player skill, that can vary down by 25% or so, but it's highly variant and I've laid out all the steps for you

This method involves doubling or tripling over the knockdown threshold on a tempered elder in the seliana cache. I don't think this would work on teostra or luna, so kushala it is. Triple requires heroics, but double can be done with pretty much any set, especially if you're willing to tenderise Kushala's head. Of course, you can use any other stunlock you like (GS is a decent example), but spread HBG is the easiest, most flexible and quickest in my experience. In theory, you should get basically all the decorations you need in like 6 hours of farming like this, but it's all RNG and will take longer in practise if you can't get the 100 per hour rates

Hopefully this leaves all you MHW IB players in good stead while I go off to enjoy MHRise. Expect content on a mixture of both games in the future, with an emphasis on MHRise in the near future, especially for streams

I have a spreadsheet which collects all sorts of data on Monster Hunter World Iceborne that people ask about a lot - things like the materials needed to upgrade the best charms (e.g. handicraft, expert etc), a list of all the guiding land monster drops and gathering nodes (plus it's searchable), what materials you need for every possible augment (attack, affinity, defence, health, slot, element/status) in the game, etc:

It also includes things like a list of ALL the 4 slot decorations (including even the rare 12 ones which ONLY drop from sealed feystones) so you know the best deco's to aim for when farming. It even has detailed images for the guiding land gathering nodes (the one's that drop materials like the guiding dragonbones/crystals etc) which you need for custom weapon upgrades/augments!
My list of guiding land drops can be sorted either by drop type (so it finds the monster to fight for a particular part) or you can use it to just find the parts belonging to any monster (no more pulling your hair out over how to get those Enchanting Finehide/Trancehide for your health augments!). This goes up to and includes the tempered elders (speaking of which, check out my 5 slot tempered investigation farming macro if you haven't already!)
It also has a Safi'Jiiva relic checklist to easily monitor which awakened weapons you're missing from the new siege!

i have the literally all the same, sets, decorations, even with heroics food skills. but i only had 53 dmgs on its head (wounded already) while you on the video gets up to 70. i rarely hit 70 dmg, it is usually hit 50 per shot. any suggestions?

I really really despise using the bowguns due to the control changes and ammo system but i really really REALLY despise the shitty rng decoration system in this otherwise great game.
So i might do this.
Been toying with just modding the decorations in but dont want to risk corrupting my 500 hour character save...

Great video again cons, I have no idea how populated the servers still are, but my favorite method for farming deccos has become just joining SOS investigations and being the Chad; not sure I could do another Kush/TFRaj/Slos inv. I'm really glad that Bow has element matching as it at least gives me something to think about before each hunt and a weapon playstyle I enjoy. Be well.
