I love this car. Snagged one of these puppies for $500 and drove it from England, through Turkey and Central Asia to Mongolia. Blew out the rear struts twice, snapped the track bar in two places, and only had one working brake by the end. Understandable given how rusty everything was. Engine never gave us any trouble despite dirty petrol, extreme heat/cold and altitude. Drove back east across Russia and finally lay her to rest in a scrapyard outside Helsinki when the clutch started giving out. This video gives me hope that someone will rescue good old Scarlet and restore her to glory.

what i love the most about older cars is the visibility through the big glasses at the side windows and rear, the exterior lines the glass headlights and their shapes, the flat low dashboards, the large space in the engine bay.



come to think about it, there isn't a thing that i dont like about older cars.
