Been using this one for the last three months. Very snappy, amazing screen, main camera is very good, and I've found battery life to be pretty good in most scenarios. I can't say is a 10/10 on anything but a solid 8 in everything.

Overall more than decent budget midrange phone, offering even higher value than the Pro+ with the same chipset and display. Not bad!

It's funny nobody is reviewing the actual phone capabilities, like the microphone / speaker quality, signal strength indoors etc.

Did they fix the audio when recording video? On the Note 11 Pro the video had noise reduction on with no way to switch it off. So video audio sounded compressed and like its under water.

Thanks for the review, Will. I have a Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite right now and it's been the best phone I've ever had, in the sense of value for specs. The only problem is I intentionally bought a 4G phone because my 5G OnePlus 9 overheated too easily.

I was hoping the Xiaomi 13 Lite would replace it -- but it's almost as if fans of my phone were nudged intentionally nudged towards this Redmi instead. That Xiaomi wanted to go in a different direction with the 13 Lite and from you and others have said -- they dropped the ball on that 13. I fear it's going to be flop city.

The irony is that I had given up on OnePlus (the OP9 was pure junk) but the looming Nord 3 looks like the perfect phone for me. It's loaded with 5G and it appears the phone isn't overheating like the 9.

This diatribe has no point except to complain about Xiaomi dropping the ball this time.

I bought it new. I'm wondering why there's no update to miui 14 and android 13. My friend's note 11 pro has it. Also, the charger seems weird. When charging it just say fast charging and not the 67w charging. Sometimes there an error saying my charger might be old so it's charging slowly.

Xiaomi mid range phones look really nice. The problem for me is that their screens are so big. 6.67 inch is an overkill for me. A 6 inch screen is more than enough for an everyday use phone :)
