The color difference is due to the vivid color scheme selected default on 5g one. If you will change it to saturated you will see the difference.

I think the screen on redmi note 12 pro 4g is better than 5g version is more colorfull and more contrasted ....

The majority of the point given to the 5g variant is with startup times for apps and games
But the problem is the difference is so small that it could more likely be blamed on whoever is tapping the screen. More likely human error

The difference is negligible

Thank you as I was undecided what version to buy.
On the speed test it's only a fraction difference and that does not bother me, the 4G version has a far better screen, brighter with more vibrant colours, would make videos and movies more enjoyable,
The camera comparison gave the 4G 108mp the edge, the selfie camera was better with deeper colours whereas the 5G seemed overly bright and washed out.
yes I think I will get the 4G version. 👍

Автор, большое спасибо за сравнение) очень часто не хватает именно такого сравнения, а не только характеристики)

For me Redmi Note 10 Pro is still the best among all the Redmi Phone Series

If the camera, performance, gaming, connectivity, and design are more important to you, then choose the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G. But if the battery life is more of a priority – go for the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro.

I like the Redmi Note 12 Pro 5g more for the shape of the camera module

30 usd difference in my country, the pro 5g is a way better phone with its better specs (dimensity 1080 > old sd 732g), better camera(has ois and megapixels don't determine the quality of pictures), and better battery effiency (the 5g's chipset consumes not much power), and better connectivity (has 5g and wifi 6)

Amazing comparison well done!
It looks like 5G win video capture for better stability, whereas, 4G win photography.

Hi have question you have to buy phones or company market

The video keeps giving points to the 5G phone when the 4G phone 'wins'. Like the 4G phone is opening stuff faster than the 5G one is, but the 5G one gets a point. Am I the only one who's noticing that? It's weird ... and a little bit creepy, tbh.

Does the 5G version have dlna?

Thank you 😉

Maybe the 5G was faster opening those apps because it is featuring Android 12. I would've liked to see that comparison having them both the same android version. But it was a good comparison. Thanks

I've recently bought this phone, and am quite satisfied with most of it's features such as: very good speakers, good performance for tasks such as watching videos, playing games (although i haven't played really demanding games yet). However, there is something about this phone that I have noticed which is really odd. I have previously used phones with LCD displays and have never had issues when it comes to scrolling, and this is the first time owning a phone with an AMOLED display, which, by the way, looks really good. I have noticed that the AOD is not always on, perhaps I have to tweak some settings, but that is besides the main point of this comment.

The problem with this phone is scrolling. I am not sure if i am overexaggerating or not, but when you scroll, text becomes blurry and leaves a trail behind, even if you are not scrolling really fast. I am not sure if this is a software or hardware issue, but I am hoping that is is software and that it could be fixed, because otherwise it really detracts from using a phone for one of the basic tasks such as scrolling. Setting the display refresh rate to 120Hz does seem to help a bit, but it is far from a solution for me because I am used to 60Hz and 120Hz drains battery very fast, and I am not really satisfied with battery life even with 60Hz. I have started noticing this problem after updating to the latest MIUI version, which is 14.0.2.0 as of now, but I am not sure whether or not this issue was present since I've unboxed the phone and turned it on for the first time.

I would like to know if someone has experienced something like this as well so that I can figure out if there is a way to fix this, as scrolling experience is really unenjoyable currently. I am even thinking about installing a custom rom if it would help but I would rather postpone that and not wipe all of my data for nothing. I would also like to add that I have noticed the exact same behaviour with Redmi note 11 pro 5G, so I don't think that both of those phones have a faulty display. All in all, any input for why this happens is appreciated, I am trying to find a way to make the scrolling experience as good as I can, but so far haven't found much that would be of use to me. Maybe this is just the way AMOLED displays are and it takes time to get used to that display behaviour?
