You have to admire the way he communicated; it wasn't childish, just completely wide-open, without an ounce of self-consciousness; that, in itself, was art.

I read up on basquiat heritage. And I found out he is a Haitian American and thing that clicked to me that the fact that Haiti, despite its extreme poverty and issues are a nation of artists. I traveled to Haiti to help after the earthquake. And what I gazed upon was art and artist. The country is saturated with beautiful minds and people. Sculptures, painters, musicians, dancers. It wes very overwhelming. And they all knew they wouldn't be compensated a dime for their genius. So finding out basquiat was Haitian didnt surprise me. It's in his cognitive genes.

It's a shame he's gone. He seemed a bit innocent in a way and quiet...sort of childlike in a way. He was also so handsome and apparently a creative genius. Catnip for some.

Watching this made me sad. He was very intelligent and had a unique spirit.

Nice looking and very talented I must say. He was way ahead of his time of what he talked about in terms of the media and how they treat celebs. It's a reason he didn't live on to actually see these times as it is worse today. I feel like there isn't enough of him on the internet, his legacy needs to be expanded alot more

Artist have so many feelings, that it becomes hard to really expose all of them simultaneously. He was a true gentleman, thus his soft voice. The world is too harsh of a place to feel at home. He's amongst the best and most kind now. Where he belongs, heaven. God bless you my brother. Thanks
