This bastard and Gundyr are bosses I just can't help but respect, it's because the way they fight, two fighters in heavy suits of armor with heavy weapons and great sense of knighthood.

The speed and viciousness of Ornstein combined with the overwhelming presence of Smough.
And a fucking shield.

just the pure force behind his attacks and his fighting style including the shield bashes are just amazing

Most enjoyed fight for me was with dragonslayer armour. Felt like I was fighting a TRUE badass. With his great size and heavy armour. Shield bashing. Everything seemed to shake from every move he made.

I have a man crush on this boss. I love the detail on his shield/armor/weapon. And the fact that it's an empty shell of armor. So fucking cool. Hail dark souls

The shield is more terrifying than the axe... that's saying a lot when the axe is a 10 foot long piece of stone infused with lightning that hits like a truck

I think the dragonslayer armour is a superior warrior to Ornstein. It’s actually a challenge on its own, unlike Ornstein who goes down pretty fast without Smough.

I’ve never played Dark Souls but hearing Armour’s theme. The torment, the agony, and the pain is what i’m hearing. Truly a masterpiece in music.

Real talk this is my favorite boss in the game, I love duels like this where you’re not super out of your depth but the opponent is just bigger and stronger enough to make you feel like an underdog when you finally win

i love this boss, he is just plain af with the abcence of any magic, and at the same time he is very dangerous. ive fought him probably nearly 50 times and its just 10/10 bossfight
