10 Technology Trends that will Change the World
Показать описание
Here's the top 10 trends I’m watching and investing in the coming year:
About me:
I’m a Silicon Valley based venture capitalist at multi-billion dollar fund SignalFire, and an investor in companies such as Uber, Ro, Grammarly, and others. I was taught to code by my parents from rural Taiwan who immigrated to the US to become engineers. While my first “business” selling TI-83 graphing calculator games did not pan out, today I live out my childhood dreams by partnering with early-stage startups that are breaking down barriers to a more connected, open and educated society.

More about this video:
While a global pandemic devastated our people and economy, it also by necessity pulled forward technology progress in telemedicine remote care, eCommerce, and hybrid learning a full decade virtually overnight.
I’ll cover trends such as deepfakes, creator economy, artificial intelligence, AI, mental health, telemedecine, eCommerce, great resignation, the future of work, no code, ransomware, colonial hack, colonial pipeline hack, spacetech, nft, crypto, and web3.
What do you think about these technology predictions? These are very difficult to get right; no one in the world would have guessed a pandemic would come to define technology deployment this year. And if you were expecting flying cars or space travel for consumers, I’ve got news for you - we’re not going to see it in 2022.
As Bill Gates said “Most people overestimate what they can do in one year and underestimate what they can do in ten years”. If you’re interested in my take on what’s possible in 2030, let me know in the comments! And hit the subscribe button and the bell icon to get notified when I make my next video on how the future of technology will reshape our lives.
