This was the most genuine and honest Tesla review I've ever seen. You showed the good and bad and gave honest opinions without glossing over the obvious QC problems and system failures. Keep up the good work!

FYI, don't slam the frunk lid. Lower down slowly and then use both hands to push it down to latch it. The frunk lid is very light material and if you slam it down, it can bent.

You've experienced my worst fear about owning a Tesla - the screen blacks out or just doesn't respond to any touches! Thanks for covering pretty much most of the pros and cons of owning a Model X, which could also apply to other Tesla models as well.

I traded in my Model Y performance for a Model X plaid which came this February. So far I have absolutely No Regrets! Yes the car has glitches but overall I absolutely love this car!

I agree with your thoughts on purchasing vs. leasing. For me, I buy my vehicles for cash and then drive them until the wheels fall off. Leases tend to be an endless hamster wheel of payments. But to each their own.

FYI there is a car wash mode under service. Puts it in neutral, turns off wipers, etc. 2) If door doesn't open fully but is safe to open hold the door open button and it will manually override. You can then click on screen to "always open fully at that location".

"This is really humane" -- a garage mechanic offers to help fix a problem with her car! Life must be unbelievably tough in California if a car mechanic offering his services is celebrated with such heartfelt joy and relief.

I think I changed my mind on Tesla. I’ll wait and get a different car. Premium price and low quality does not go together. Thanks!

I love your personality you’re so positive and cheerful, as far as the issues for a $100k+ car that is inexcusable…

I used to work for Toyota as a sales person, they were pushing us to sell the lease option, but every time lease option ends, the buyer pays every thing all over again, tax, extra mileage cost... purchasing is better than leasing!

I have a 2016 X that’s nearing 200, 000 miles. It’s about to undergo a battery replacement because at maximum capacity the range is 190 miles. I’ve been fully charging to capacity since new, because YOLO. I remember when it would charge to 254 miles. Happy times!

You should not slam to close the frunk like an ICE car, just gently put it down, put your hands between the logo, and press. You could damage the aluminum if not closing it properly.

Never say Never...Congratulations Silicon Valley girl for your Tesla

Close the frunk by gently lowering it, place both hands on the front center a few inches apart and push down firmly in one move. Don’t slam the hood down.

The A/C issue was a fluke that doesn't happen as often as in gas-engine cars. My 2014 $60K Mercedes had A/C issue the 1st year I bought it brand new and they didn't even give me a loaner for the 2 weeks that took to fix.
Also gas engine cars have multiple issues that doesn't exist in electric cars, examples are: transmission, fuel lines, spark plugs, radiator, muffler, catalytic converter, gaskets, leakage, etc. etc.
