Scenario 1, Sujud Al Sahu before Salam:

Type 1: Miss an obligatory act that cannot be retracted.

Hadith: 2:55

Type 2: If the worshipper was confused over whether he prayed 3 or 4 rak’ahs or 1 or 2 sajdahs. No inclination for either.

Hadith: 3:43


Scenario 2, Sujud Al Sahu after Salam and give Salam again.

Type 3: If you added something to the prayer that is not part of it.

Hadith: 5:11

Type 4: You are confused but have an inclination whether you added or omitted something in the prayer.

Example: 8:01

As salam alaikum warahmatullhi wabarakatuh, jazakAllahu khayral jazaa' for sharing. I want to ask what if I forgot to read surat Alfatiha when I started my prayer and just started with normal surah then remembered on the 2nd verse? Should I just make tasleem and start again? Or should I just stop and start reading surah fatiha without leaving prayer (tasleem)?
