OMG! I bought the FA 08 about 5 years ago and was frustrated. Now using Ed's videos I am making progress. I nearly threw the keyboard outside and was going to toss. it. I am amazed at your excellent skills. Take care and Thank you

Ok this is the best video out there about this Roland product. This guy explains in perfect fashion how to use each part of the FA-06 without overcomplications!

Best keyboard ive ever bought. Tops the fandom 6( 2005) in workflow and the fact that you have 16 tracks to assign any sound with individual
Effects to what ever keys you want. I opens up a whole word of studio sets!

Great presentation - informative and gets the info across in a way that is easy to understand, with a voice that is pleasant to listen to, and without being too showy. Thank you! Seems like great keyboard too.

Ed great video just as the other ones I watched.

Was actually looking at the Korg Krome 61 but the FA offers a bit more for less money.

It will be a FA06.

My question : On Roland Workstation, during measure by measure squencing, recorded sustain pedal on and off data is changed alternately, on become off, and off become on, but sequencing on Krog workstation, all the sustain come up exectly the same as while recording, please answer what about on this FA 06, ( I have owned 3 Roland workstation and 1 Korg, My faviourate function of Roland is WAIT NOTE ( Key On ), which korg has never have.THANKs

Big Ed... I was searching for a sound module to complement the Roland Ax Synth keytar.  I came across your demo on the FA-06 and thought that I could use the FA-06 as the sound module with all the workstation features for free (and amazing sounds from Roland Integra 7).  I can connect the Ax Synth to the FA-06 workstation and play up front with the guitar players and not be hidden at the back. The weight of 12+ lbs and 40 inches wide are manageable (to carry on gig nights) for a senior citizen.  Thanks Small Ed

I don't know why people criticise the piano sounds on this keyboard. sounds great to me.

Ia the only way to get sounds into the DAW using the SD card, or can you record directly to the DAW via USB? I noticed the manual says their USB driver is for both MIDI and audio, but the only demos I've seen show the player always dumping tracks to the card, then putting the card into the computer to load the DAW. Why does the driver say "MIDI and audio" if the SD card is the only way to export sounds?  Thanks!

When exporting to wave files for multi tracking, what about the separation of the drums? if I use track 1 for my kick will it all me to export each drum sound separately?
