A very basic question. Can you create drum patterns in real time, put them together in a sequence, and save it as a song? I have had a Fantom X6 for 10 years. I have been unable to do so. I have been told by Roland reps that it could only be done in step time. I did it with a reps at a workshop once by accident and neither she nor I were able to recreate it.

Question! Does one have to use the multipads 'only' to avail the 'tone remain' function? Can't i avail the same effect while using the 10 registration memory buttons while changing tones? 🤔

How is it done that pad 3 triggers part1, pad 1 triggers parts 1, 2, 3 and pad 2 triggers 7, 8, 11 playing together? I have read the manual but it doesn't say how to trigger groups of parts with a single pad, which is exactly what I want to do. Anyone knows how it's done in this video?
