I don't think Karina or her brain invader worms had any access to the Force, they just happened to be controlling the actions of a Force user.

All of the access was by Bariss, it's like jumping in and driving away in a car, you don't take on the vehicle's features yourself, you're just at the controls of a vehicle with those specific features until you turn it off and take the keys out.

I'm not talking about the creatures in the Dr Aphra comic, of course. I'm just sayin'; just like I won't inherit cruise control lol or power steering by driving my car around, Karina and her brain Invaders didn't inherit any of Bariss Offee's Force abilities once they were no longer in control of her.

Spores, walking blue mountains that can talk and use the force, blobs that one can wear and shape shift into anything, interdimension jelly fish (and the regular space jelly fish), hyperspace capable space whales, wolves that can travel though force portals, etc, etc. And people say legends was to weird to be star wars. The NEU is just as bad (or as good in my opinion) at doing strange and crazy.

It kind of reminds me of the X Parasite in the Metroid series. It's the primary antagonist in Metroid Fusion and takes the form and abilities of it's host, leading to many interesting enemy encounters throughout the game.

Still don't like the ability to transfer Force powers, tbh. It just opens up the possibilities that don't seem very fun in my eyes.
