it isnt working for me. I installed samsung DeX on my windows 11 but I cant connect galaxy tab s8 via usb - usb C cable.

I've never been able to mirror or use dex on pc (using Tab s8), I mean how hard ow hard can it be surely. I get the error in 2:18. Anyone advise?

In my Win 11 OS, i can't use my mouse to click inside the dex, do you have the same problem too in the begining?

I love this! I unfortunately bought a few cables usb type c to male hdmi and a capture card trying to figure how dex can work on my laptop. Wasted money I guess. Thank you!

It only runs at 60 fps and the video is so laggy and now quality on mine.

Dex just cuts out without warning. It's not stable. Everything not saved is lost. Makes it totally unreliable and useless. It's not good for much even if it were stable. Some things, but not much. They need to at least fix that otherwise you are wasting your time and effort because it will instantly and without warning shut down. Repeatedly.

I dump all my PC just for this.. Dex is powerful OS. No need big power like pc and Apple and they are very expensive. I'm good with dex.. hopefully the dev realize it if this OS need little bit touch up update so can compete with Microsoft and Apple

I am trying to figure out if this is good for anything. Why do I need to see my phone on my computer?

But just this week my home internet was out for over 24 hours but my phone still got data so it was connected to the internet. I think it may have been useful in that rare situation depending on what I might have wanted to do. To be able to use the computer keyboard instead of one finger typing on the phone. Otherwise it just seems like a nice toy to say oh wow look at that, and otherwise is useless.

I have since figured out that my phone's hotspot can give internet access to my computer, which is awesome. And dex crashes constantly, making it completely useless.
