Carmel still rings a bell. One of music history's forgotten gems.Couple of great alums, now she's working in a store in England selling womens clothes and working on a comeback. Same voice, hope the band is authentic like this one. She deserve's all good luck and fortune. For me, the albums "The Falling", and "The Drum is Everything" (this track) belong to my music heritage.

She is still active: On September 25, 2015 Carmel released her first new single with her new band, the double A-Side 'Sad Situation' | 'Second Wife Blues', on new independent label Kultura Recordings.[4] Both tracks were recorded at Limefield Studio[5] in Middleton and mixed and mastered by Kevin O'Toole.

On 2 Jun 2018, Carmel played her first live date in four years, playing St. Agnes' Church, Longsight, Manchester to much acclaim, swiftly followed by summer dates across the North of England including some festivals.
