Ending the Cycle, Act 1 Promo (Henry Stickmin Askblog Animation)

In which Henry gets himself into a problematic situation, and his ensuing process of figuring out how to continue forward with his story.

After a month of work, the final version of this animation is finished. Asks are finally open on the official askblog, and I can be done with animation for a while. Thank you to everyone who voted on the previous video, and I hope you enjoy where the story goes from here :)

Q: Will this be made into a game??
A: No, this will not be made into a fangame. This story was always intended to be an askblog, and that’s how I’m going to be able to best tell this story. Even if I wanted to make this into a game, which I do not, I don’t have a computer or the programming knowledge to do so. I don’t want anyone else making this into a game either, so please don’t ask.

Q: What’s up with Henry’s legs??
A: When I started animating this, I hadn’t quite figured out how I wanted to stylize the characters yet. His legs were a victim of me not knowing how human I wanted him to look yet, since I usually draw more realistic figures. That’s why they’re a bit less cartoony than the rest of him. The intention is for him to be wearing black skinny jeans, by the way, but due to his shoes being the same color, I just made it easier on myself and animated them as one.

Q: Why is Henry wearing heels??
A: Why not? Also, they’re boots with a bit of a wedge, technically. He has black shoes now, because this story is set a few years after CtM, so he got some new shoes. The brown ones didn’t go with his new outfit as well. Let the man be tall if he wants.

Q: What program do you animate on?
A: I work with Procreate and FlipaClip. Since Procreate doesn’t have audio support, things like lipsyncing had to be sketched out in FlipaClip, then the final version of each frame was made in Procreate.

Q: Will there be an Episode 2??
A: No, there will not be an episode two. As previously stated, this story was always meant to be told in askblog format. This and the previous video are essentially glorified trailers for the blog, and that’s all they were meant to be. Please stop asking for an episode 2, it really stresses me out, even two years later, and makes me not want to produce content for YouTube at all.

I love the idea of some of these fails. Teleporter takes Henry to the end of BtB, Brute Force likely has him ending up in EtP, and Cloak-a-Cola is just an homage back to the invisiblility pill from StD. I love the idea that we're trying to avoid any of the old outcomes from the canon series. I can't wait for part 2!.

For those of you who might not know "etc." is an abbreviation of "et cetera", which translates from Latin to "and so on"

Why do I feel like teleporter should have bandages and stuff like that, cause henry broke the teleporter in one timeline. Also now that I think abt it, I feel like henry is aware of his fails which explains why he was hesitating to use it and then break it.
