"Product placements!" - Every other person in the comments section.
I think what matters most is the content, and the content is very well done by The Verge, and I think they deserve credits for such well done commercials.

The Verge: How about releasing such videos in 4k or at least 1440p?

I thought it would be like a show off of an awesome camera technology or how those guys used the the camera in unique ways, but it was just another commercial :\

It's hard for me to explain how much I HATE these things. I trust The Verge because of its impartiality, and sadly, I can't help but doubt that particularity when they're sharing adds of just one of the brands they would usually review.
Same thing would happen to me with if he was hired by Motorola or Google. That'd probably be great for him to happen but not as much for his viewers who love his fair-mindedness.

I dont know what everyone is bitching about. The Verge is a company that makes content and it has to be paid for by someone. If they didnt do videos that were sponsored like these, they could NEVER make their awesome features that are pure the verge goodness. People, unless you want to pay for a subscription to the verge, stop bitching and be glad that theres a tech site out there actually making watchable content, unlike others in the I am directly referring to gizmodo. Awful. Absolutely awful.
