I’ve fallen back into my old ways and have been running from God. Drinking, swearing, anger, and lust plague me and I feel absolutely dead inside. I want to do the right thing and turn back but end up doing the opposite. I was once faithful and in close relationship with Jesus now I feel a lot of distance. I am weak and need His provision in my life and in my heart. Please pray for me brothers and sisters in Christ.

Edit: Thank you all for the prayers and encouragement. Things are changing for the better and my relationship with the Lord is improving. Never will I be perfect but I know he has a plan and His grace is sufficient. Thank you Jesus!

My son grew up in the church now that he is an adult and has his family he does not take his children to church the way I use to take him when he was young. He tells me he believes but is not ready to turn completely back to God. My grandchildren curse fight and play games that involves killing and fighting I tell my son and my daughter-in-law they should not be watching these things and to her she says there is nothing wrong with what they are doing. This is a great message to us all . The message is of none effect if you don't understand what God is saying. That's why the Lord gives us pastors to explain God's word. Not getting the right information will cause you to be lost as well.. The word said man perish for lack of knowledge. Read God's word for yourself! Get a BIBLE.. Hell is a real place. It's a place of torment. The body is in the grave. The soul go back to the Father or to hell the place of torment. Read the story of Lazarus the poor man and the rich man, that didn't want him to eat the crumbs that fell from his table. The Bible says the angels carried him to Abraham. The rich man lifted up his eyes in hell a place of torment. Don't just look or hear and not really hear. This is REAL!!! That's why the Lord is letting us hear the WORD so that we can change the way we think and walk in this world why we have a chance..
