July 24th was the start of a brand new Lightning Lane system at the Walt Disney World Resort.
Lightning Lane Multipass has replaces Disney's Genie Plus service and Lightning Lane Single Pass has replaced the Individual Lightning Lance selections.
This new system has receive high praise by guest as it has some similarities to the Fastpass+ system and allows you to make 3 lightning lane selections in advance of your theme park visit! Wait you had to purchase the multi lane first? I thought you could see and pick your selections first before committing to purchasing, in case times and selections weren’t what you were happy with..

I'll be travelling with my family August 11-15. I know school starts August 12 for a lot of Orlando kids so crowds may be smaller. I am staying at a Disney resort, so it would be 7 days of advanced LL booking.

How do I know if I should splurge on the multipass though? Disney is already pricey, and this would tack on a fair amount of extra dollars, without me knowing in advance if it will be worth it the added cost.
