I love watching this channel. This guy is the type of guy you would want helping you in an actual knife shop. Knowledgeable and friendly. 🤙

As a lover of all things Knife....I just love you guys...I became a knife lover watching old Tarzan movies as a small boy... At 63 im still buying knifes just because I did not have that one... Lol
Folders, belt, and machetes I have my grandfather's corn knife, and Barlow.

You guys are developing fantastic chemistry working together. I thoroughly enjoy hearing both of your perspectives, which are sometimes different while other times the same. Great job!

That thinning from hilt to tip is called a distal taper. It makes for an incredible slicer.

I’ll add one to this list. Spyderco Native 5 Lightweight. I’d overlooked it for a while but when I saw the S110V version in stock I had to snag it. It has dominated my rotation since it came in. Hair popping sharp out of the box and fits my giant hands nicely. Smooth action out of the box, perfect centering, zero blade play, solid lockup. Breaking down boxes yesterday it went through them like butter. Still hair popping sharp. I just strop it at the end of the day.

Since watching this the first time, I bought a SAK Rambler. It has become one of my most-used knives. Thanks Seth.

Thank you for featuring the Rambler again. I have been singing the Rambler gospel for many years, now, and I'm so glad to see both of you hyping it, so more people will buy that model, and it will remain in production for many years to come.

I'd love to see more-between two knifes videos. Because you're tastes and great for people like me to compare & I would also love it if Seth would repeat what he said a couple of videos ago " I have average sized hands " as I too have average sized hands & I really enjoy DCA saying "slightly larger than average hands " ? But overall I love the videos because they are so informative without dribbling crap like other channels. Keep it up guys.
Peace James

I have been carry a Rambler variant daily for years. It was labeled Golf. Bought three of them gave two as gifts to golf buddies and keep mine. Divot tool instead of file... might be a good seller for you. Love mine. In my pocket everyday!😊

Two of my favorite knife guys. I really like the SAK Rambler, the Phillips screwdriver sold me. I’m really off the Chinese knives, so it was nice to see a few alternatives.

The Rambler also has a toothpick inside the handle too!! :) Carried this around for years and years in the 90s. Knife edge and scissors were scary sharp as hell! Underrated for sure.

I've (ab)used an Enzo Birk 75 for years! The action is silky smooth and snappy, and it blows through camp tasks while saying "Thank you sir, may I have another?]" and laughing! It is my #1 choice for an outdoor folder to compliment my larger fixed blade.

The Hogue Trauma is my work knife. Feels great in my hand, has a "work safe" Sheepsfoot blade and the seat belt cutter is great when you need to cut some small nylon rope or zip-ties that your buddy is holding or that'sclose to sensitive electronics. The glass breaker won't hurt in a self defense situation either. Totally underrated has an EDC.

Hey DCA, I have to ask again, I carry the Benchmade Mini Loco 818 and I can't find any custom scales anywhere. Do you know where I can find any or another comparable knife that will scratch my itch for a new look without compromising it's overall usefulness?

That Moki Mother of Pearl is striking! I bought white cotton gloves to handle my polished knives. OCD runs deep.

Brisa/Enzo (I knew them as Enzo when I was last active in knife space circa 2010) make great knives and they were, at the time, really responsive to criticism and would change ergonomic and other issues fairly quickly. For instance, at one point the deep-carry clip on the Birk was mounted near the middle of handle making it a serious hotspot and rather defeating the point of the deep-carry clip.

Enzo/Brisa made fixed blades (including blanks for aspiring knifemakers), a two-hand opening slipjoint and a linerlock, then added in a lockback, etc in both Scandi and full-flat blade geometries and a couple of knife steels.

On the budget end there were EKA of Sweden and Mora of Sweden (now Morakniv) and Martinni (sp?), while the high-end fixed and occasionally folding were Karesuando, Helle, etc.
