The Kunwu X-Tao CF is an incredible deal for what you get. Think I paid $219 for mine; Elmax steel. I upgraded it with a Lynch NW wire replacement clip made for Spyderco, fits great. Order the ice blue color to match the blade thumb studs perfectly.

I’ve had 2 kabar dozers. The drop blade version in OD green, and the black thumb hole version. Loved both. The OD green one I lost goose hunting, but was sharp and durable to the day I lost it. The thumb hole one I still carry often. They’re light weight, simple and functional.

Off-grid Viper EDC in D2 Steel. I have been carrying this everywhere for about a year and a half now. Blade has held up amazingly, no noticeable damage even after dropping it as many times as I have. The pocket clip is surprisingly good, even better imo than my Spyderco. It feels great and has never let me down once. Amazing knife especially for the price point. Off-grid knives are so slept on imo.

Kunwu does stellar work. I have their original Toa from Kickstarter and it's phenomenal. One of my favorites and mine sports what seems to be an excellent heat treatment on the M390.

Samior is a pretty solid brand. They used to have unbranded knives, but the pit there logo on them now, but they’ve been pretty slick for a while

I have a lot of knives, some very expensive and rare. I often carry my ka-bar dozier D2. I just like it, like a time tested underdog, good enough for whatever I need and not flashy so people don't freak out.

The Dozier is an all time favorite of mine. I've carried one for maybe 12 years now. I was super bummed when I lost my first one but pumped to replace it because they are very inexpensive.

Kabar Dozier is one of my favorites next to the Fighting Knife and the Desert Mule. They come pretty sharp, but for Xmas 2021 I ordered a bunch for friends, sharpened them up and MAN those things had edge. Still to this day in my top 5 for knives, top 3 for folding ones for sure.
