In this week’s podcast, I’m speaking to Dr Brendon Stubbs - a physio with a difference - who looks at how exercise literally changes our brains.

We talk about how when we stop moving and become sedentary for even just ONE week, our levels of stress and depression increase.

Just think what 7 days with more activity could do for you! Let’s spread the word - tag a friend below to join you, and let’s start a movement revolution 💪🏾

The problem is that you manage not be financially stable to go out all weekend you may have family or other commitments. Generally speaking we are also conditioned to save money not spend it so in a way it’s an imposed stay at home thing. The motivation as well to get up and go out and do something productive or ride somewhere on the only two days off is less, we want to relax and have some downtime so we sleep in and bum around then the weekend is over and back to work again. If you are single and living alone it’s 10x harder because you alone and don’t have that companionship

Do you know if the studies measured the levels of stress hormones like Cortisol? I have depression and now have mobility issues because of MS, but I'm always a bit wary about the results of studies where the results can be subjective because of the measurement methods used.
