So many annoying and bad recommendation videos, finally someone who seems so down to earth, informative and genuinely super smart. Subbed and liked

I’ve recently developed eczema around my eyes and it’s very uncomfortable. I watched this video and bought the Vanicream and it’s definitely helped. I’ve realized I can’t wear fake eyelashes . I think I’m allergic to the glue so I will never wear them again. Thank you so much for this information because it has helped me.

Eczema around the eyes (and in general) is SUCH a tricky thing to treat! Traditionally as GPs we've only had limited things- mostly steroids and emollients. It's good to see a step by step and no-fuss guide for all of us to refer to!

Hi Dr. V,

I used to use a humidifier with tap water; I then realised it is actually not good for our health and create white dust. Would you agree that we should use Distilled or demineralised water in a humidifier?

2. May I also know what is the best humidity level for our skin to stay healthy?

3. As I watched your video, And fully understand perfume and essential oil on your skin is a big No-No. How about adding natural organic essential oil, such as lavender oil into the humidifier being seen as a No-No for our skin too?

Thank you Dr V!!!

Applying vaseline helped my eyelids two days back. It really works.

I have been dealing with left eyelid dermatitis for past 5 years. And I simply cannot wear drugstore mascaras even if it’s cruelty free. There is something in them that immediately flares up my condition. I can only use organic skincare and makeup. Xx from Australia

Dr V, I just have to thank you. I asked about LRP Antithelios earlier this week, not realising you'd done a WHOLE video on it. Your answer to me was so kind. Thanks for your patience and all your help!

Omg thank you so much for this! I've had eczema around one of my eye areas on and off since i was a child (used to be much worse as a child) and have always been using the hydrocortisone cream to treat it. I find the trigger for me is when the weather changes, it has happened both in the winter and summer! I'm experiencing it at the moment too.

Thank you for those product recommendations! I'll definitely check them out! I've been using Vaseline every night after i apply the Cerave eye cream but I've had to stop since the eczema flare up started and treat with the hydrocortisone again. So I'll be excited to try one of those products :)
