The Academy for the Talented is offering two law programmes this summer as well! Join us to get a glimpse of what being a lawyer is like!

[𝐇𝐊𝐔 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐥𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐋𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐜𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐲 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐓𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐝]
This 5-day online intensive course allows you to get practical experience in
- Developing trial techniques covering the various parts of a trial in the court
- Demonstrating your understanding of trial preparation and procedures of both civil and criminal trials in a mock trial

Upon successful completion of the programme, you will be equipped with an overview of law as it relates to court procedures and associated issues of trial preparation.

Target: S2-4/Grade 8-10 students

Co-organised by the Faculty of Law, Faculty of Arts, HKU Business School at the University of Hong Kong, the programme provides you with genuine exposure to the Bachelor of Law degree and postgraduate certificates in Law courses, as well as real-life scenarios in court.

You will also have a chance to meet the legal practitioners in the commercial practice workshop, and legal professional pathways talk offered by Deacons, Hong Kong's premier independent law firm.

Those who perform well in the final project/competition will have the chance to join the Early Insights Programme of Deacons, Hong Kong’s largest and oldest independent law firm, and work with the firm’s lawyers the week following the completion of the Legal Academy for the Talented.
