Thank you so much, I upgraded to the new 4.2.7 and follow a lot of videos showing how, but non of these videos showed that you need to update the firmware as well. Got it finally working after this video!

Thank you very much for your video. My Ender 3 (not pro) recently died due to the SD that came with the refurbished model corrupting. I've lost about two years of work on STL files that I had been perfecting and was going to release once I hit 1000 subs here on YouTube. I have been totally beside myself at the prospect of replacing my mainboard, but this video has given me the confidence I need to attack the project head on.

Thank you again, sincerely, for the service you have done for the 3D printing community. Cheers.

Top video thanks (I fitted a 4.2.2 but basically the same). Nice clear instructions, the only thing that confused me slightly was that one of the fan sockets was in a different place next to another one both labelled fan on the new board but I could see the wire colours in your video - so no problem! The hardest part was removing all the hot glue used at new manufacture!

2:05 Not only mark your cables but also take a couple of close-up photos. You will thank yourself later!

Thank you very much for sharing your time and experiece. The vídeo and all The instructions helped me a lot. I wasn't sure IF I could do it. But I was able to swap the board of my ender 3 pro, no problemas At all. Now I have to swap my old (y) endstop switch. It arrived together with The New board. You are awesome. Very clear and patient while explaining. Keep The great job. Congrats and succes wishes! Sorry for any english writing mistakes. From Brazil, high five!

Hi Daniel,

I saw your video with great interest, precise and detailed, I will certainly insert it in the Steel Roller documentation.

Video helped, but I hate videos that skip over important parts. The last part of the wire re install skips over that the fans are in new areas than the old.

Just finished installing mine a bit ago, so because your video is so new it was all the same steps, and like others, since you show the fan headers in their correct placements that was the only confusing pinout to figure out since what is what isn't labeled on the board or manual. Its eerily quiet now, almost seems like a new machine entirely apart form the fans.

Just ordered one of these 32 bit boards and will follow your excellent video. Thanks! Once it is in, can I then add one of the touch screen displays? Is that easy if so?

Very interesting video!
I received my Ender 3 pro with a noisy 4.2.2 motherboard.
I wanted to take a Créality 4.2.7 but I regularly see people recommending the SKR Mini 2.0

Do you have an opinion on this?

There are 3 fans. On the old V1.1.4 board, there is a "fan" port and a "fan1" port. in the video you first connected the blue-yellow fan connector to the wrong port (new board, fan2) but then changed your mind and connected it to the one more to the center (new, fan1). The blue-yellow fan wire goes to the connector most central on the board, the fan wires for the enclosure fan go to the one most close to the edge.

Do you have any recommendations for a display upgrade to go along with this?
