It's not just that Russia lost one of their best tanks, it's that this tank got rogered so hard, it's hardly identifiable as a tank, let alone a T-90M.
I mean, look at that wreck. We've seen a lot of T-90Ms getting knocked out, but often the crew makes it out alive and the damage knocked out the tank, but at least it's in one piece.
That thing, however, looks like it was hit by the _fist of an angry god._

I don't doubt for a second that Ukraine will find all sorts of remains of armored vehicles in their territory for years after this war is over. Tanks half-submerged in mud, tanks in small ponds, tanks in the middle of a forest, that kind of thing. Hell, I bet we'll find tanks sitting in collapsed basements too.

Similar to the warning on my sideview mirror, objects in Oryx are more depleted than it appears.

Looks like another orc tank had a "Jack in the box" phenomenon, and the trolls told us that T-90M won't have its turret blown up due to its "new" ammo carousel. Shocker.

Imagine all the losses behind enemy lines with artillery strikes, that we don't see.

By the looks of what is left of that tank I wonder if the turret has come back to earth yet, or is it still in low orbit.

I am so looking forward to the Oryx tallies for the T-54s, the T-55s, and the BTR-50s.

T55 moving toward the frontline will change the outcome, no doubts

Compare that to the more than 5, 000 Abrams in service or storage in the US alone. Russia's top tier stuff may be decent, but when only 2 percent of their equipment is modern, it doesn't really matter how good it is.

That tank was wrecked. That's not a propellant cook-off (deflagration) that's an internal detonation.

Greetings Suchomimus, hoping you're doing well. Another interesting report here on the T90's and the T14's.

However it is also interesting regarding placement of Russian modern equipment specifically in the Kreminna area, i, e, the Terminator as well.

A note worthy of tracking moving forward, or should I say moving backwards.

Thanks for getting this out, much appreciated. All the best,

It's silly to think that the T-90M isn't a *significant* threat and, until western tanks arrive, the best tank in Ukraine by some margin. However, it is *equally* silly to think that they are not extremely vulnerable to getting rogered if they aren't being employed with skill, or even if they just get unlucky given the strength of modern AT they're up against.

Thank you Suchomimus. This just makes me wonder what else is laying around out there waiting to be found.. with all the other crimes they've committed in Ukraine, russia needs to have Littering added to the list ... Big Time!

I am surprised at the concentration of modern armour in one area and it has shown little progress... Did Russia expect an armoured thrust in that area.. Hopefully we will work out Russian thinking soon

BMP's might have the job of finding out how hard that stick across the arse hurts, but the T-90M was probably the biggest disappointment in terms of ground vehicles. With the M version it had all the bells and whistles, the fancy composite armour, the ERA plates and the countermeasures suite which does all kind of magical stuff to avoid being targetted. The good gun, suppression systems and optics that aren't like looking through frosted glass at a black and white TV.
Expected some casualties, its a war
There isn't even the age-old excuse of it being an export version with the ghetto armour and cheap-ass gear, but they just still keep getting cranked on hard by Ukraine to the point its just more or less a fancier T-72B (apart from the obvious shared components). I guess they still look kind of cool

Today i saw a documentary about the first days of the russian invasion.... we had forgotten the large number of modern and new russian tanks and armored transport veichles entering Ukraine... in this documentary in 2 citys they show how normal people with some suport of more experienced Ukranian troops ... these people managed to destroy and capture colums of tanks and others!!! Most of the times russian soldiers after being atacked run away or didn t know how to react.... just to see the ridicule of this... some russian troops transport veichles had medals comemorating the victory of Ukraine ...and some medals with the name of the city those units were there to capture!! Today...4018 russian tanks have been destroyed or cptured... an insane number of transport veichles destroyed or captured.... putin is a coward... he prefer send to dead so many russians than to see this is a mess ..he and russian generals need to call russian troops back to russia...but no...he will send every 1 in russia...to be killed in Ukraine... just to keep power .
Stay strong Ukraine in your fight for your freedom 🇺🇦🇵🇹💪🏼🇪🇺🇪🇺🇪🇺🇪🇺🇪🇺

Hi Such,

Thankyou.

The Kremlins publicity department of military prototypes, would like to thankyou for locating this missing T- 90 M series in fact it's not specifically a T-90M it was originally called the T -90 MA-WO-L. and has performed exactly as expected far beyond our expectations.

Great posts

A Turretless T90M, think about it so much for having blow out panels.
