In other words, when a client says yes, you can stop selling and close that deal.

Well explained differences. It gave clarity on using a contract or a proposal. 👌

I am not a creative but I am a loyal fan for the great business advice. I am a translator and people keep asking me to do additional services which are home in completely different disciplines. For example, people are trying hard to get me to do SEO while it is home in the marketing field. Or doing ad copy which also would involve being creative which goes against the idea of a translation. Whenever I can't provide people with the additional service, it is a total dealbreaker for them. They would rather go on an odyssey to find one person who can do everything they need at once instead of being reasonable and hiring two different people which would be the best for the job. Even after giving me kudos for having a very good point explaining why it wouldn't be a good idea to let one person do everything for them. Any idea how I can change their mind?
