Lowkey, if they could make the Spot scary, they could totally make a villain called "The Bagel Man" scary.

For anyone curious, while the Spot has always been a joke villain, there was one comic where we followed him as he infiltrated a gangster's hideout and coldly murdered everyone there by using his portals, all the while being completely silent.

Spiderman arrived just in time to see him leave and he couldn't arrest him. One of the most disturbing and sad comic I've seen. (It's revealed afterwards that he sought revenge against them for killing one of his loved ones and he was silent because of how enraged he was.)

So yeah Accross the Spider Verse isn't that far off from how terrifying he can be despite how stupid he can sound.

I like how the bagel isn’t even the reason he became the spot, it was the colliders destruction. The bagel was just more reason he considered spider man his nemesis.

Also according to a photo in the movie his human form actually had a pretty long beard
