I tested the fic out with a control group and myself. My findings were with people who knew of the fics infamy or were told it they felt ill myself included. The group who just got reccomended the fic out of context did not lose loved ones or feel ill. The group contained 3 discord servers per group. So what i can conclude is that this fic causes a nocebo effect and the frequency illusion of people close to readers dying. I suspect its due to the authors notes mentioning their family and friends family dwath causing this case of mild mass hysteria.
