Lil' Chris dies aged 24

This is actually pretty sad.. I listened to some of his songs when I was a kid and really enjoyed them, searched his name to see if he was making any other songs and found this out.

The other year I listened to his music (again) watched an old rock school video. Added him on Facebook and began listening to his recent music. The Christmas song etc, hearing those songs makes me feel like he's here. I was never a friend of his as I went to Sir John Leman. Although he did used to skate up the skate park near my old home. I have always checked out his music and found it awesome to have a local talent such as his around. He was very inspirational. It's a real shame to see someone with such potential to go so soon, so fast.  Especially as he was staring in a TV show and planning to release more music. 

It seems that today, for some people to get noticed, they have to go to the extreme. R.I.P Chris. We will all have you in our thoughts, and live the best life possible.

This is so sad. I remember watching the show on tv with Gene Simmons. The poor lad was so nervous and out of his comfort zone all the way through the series but they picked (on)him as the star just cos he was 'Lil'. I'll always remember a part when he was worried because he'd booked a holiday with his folks and was scared to death he wouldn't be allowed. The holiday with his family meant WAY more to him than anything else. Given so much attention then non a tall in such a short amount of time would mess any young mind up. RIP Chris. People harp on about Princess Diana getting killed by the media - that;s rubbish. Chris' death WAS caused by the media. God bless feller. x

I sat speaking to Chris at the pub shortly before the end "we come from the same town". He mentioned in conversation about a new clothing line he had coming up, but also that he was unhappy....never saw him again.

Just found out about this and its really saddening. I saw that series of rock school with gene Simmons that made him famous and he just seemed like a really likeable guy. So sad to go out like that, I pray he's in a much better place now.

I remember him as awesome and I'd really like to know what happened. He was talented and I liked him more than other artists out there back then. I'll never forget about him. I have only good memories :)
