Thanks for sharing this. Given I too have the Niner RLT Steel and want to convert it to T47 this video has given me the confidence it can be done. I just need to find someone who can do this for me.

Wouldn't it be better to use a pilot busing on one side, to ensure that the threads are parallel to the shell? Then use the tap as a pilot for the other side? The way it's done here, you would get good parallelism between the L and R threads, but not necessarily between the threads and the shell, right?
