Just made a trip home from Trysil to Fredrikstad (Norway) 288 km in a PS2 2024 LRDM with 19" wheels. A bit of downhill in the beginning, but a lot of fast highway driving. Warm weather. Avg consumption was 15, 4 kwh/100 km. Started at 90% and came home with 30% Soc. Not bad IMO.

The new LRSM must be a real road tripper. Not bad for a car that used to be known as not being efficient at all. Now they have to take care of the cabin noise to make it perfect.

Nice to see all videos on different car.
A suggestion, maybe it would interesting to compare 2nd hand car what's cheapest to run.

Example,
Minimum 50kwh
CCS
UP to 200 000 NOK.
UP to 40 000km

I have a Zoe ZE50 and is a cheap car and easy to buy for cash.
So is there some more car in this price range and it would interesting to see how's market today.

please try to get the non-performance dual motor version to test. would like to see it compared head to head agains Tesla Model 3 highland dual motor.

PS2 is wildly efficient if you take into consideration that by default it’s on bigger rims than a Tesla.

I have a US '24 LRDM Polestar 2 PP and I am not getting anywhere the charging speeds shown in the video. Outside weather is around 39C.

Can’t do better than 24 kWh/100km in my BST230 but I guess it’s because it is based on the MY23, less efficient

Feels like Polestar are desperate and prepaying every youtuber to push theyr sales. Ill be honest Polestar 2, 3 and 4 dont have any impressing numbers its a slight difference in consumption which is a good but it aint world class. What theyve done is just bigger batteries. The P3 HAS RIDICULOUS A BIG battery. Even though i think it has a very nice design

The problem with the P2 is the huge amount of GHG emitted by its construction. Polestar talks about 25 tons of CO2 in their documents. In comparison, an ICE car generates about 2 tons of CO2 per year in Europe. In fact this problem is the same for all EV's built in China. That's the reason why no chinese car can get the french ecological bonus.
