How to Have an Attractive Smile

My smile makes people nervous and isn't particularly photogenic. So I'm working on having a natural looking smile that will make others as happy as their smiles make me!

I used to overanalyze silly things about my face. My front tooth is chipped, my jaw is a bit too far to the left, my face gets round when I smile. But nobody notices those things when I'm smiling and being happy, and they won't notice your flaws either. Confidence is the most attractive thing a person can have. Don't let your "flaws" hold you back from unleashing that beautiful smile! Life is too short to worry about imperfections that every single one of us have. Be happy, makes others happy, and make genuine connections. That's what it's all about :D

I did this SAME THING! I realized I had a fake smile. Always looking like I was about ready to kill someone or shit my pants. It wasn't genuine! I caught myself real smiling in a mirror and realized my eyes basically squinch all the way closed. Now when I smile, I squint those puppies up and it looks so genuine! Yes! I can relate to this so much. If I smile I usually cover my face with my hand because my smile makes me look like I have a wide, flat face. Because I hate my smile, I walk around with an "unapproachable" face (see what I did there?). I find it interesting that I can be so insecure when I'm happy! Kassie! You are so relatable. Just ughhhh all of your videos make me genuinely happy. I think you're so funny.
I struggle with my smile as well. I always look so bitchy in public because I don't have a resting smile face. However, if someone says something to me and its funny I try to smile with my teeth and eyes but not too much and I end up feeling like I have a confused yet psychopathic look on my face...

I have a similar problem, where I prefer to do the closed lip, subtle smile for photos, and people say "smile like you mean it!" and I don't know what else to do. I really liked the end but where you said "you're worth doing at least one self-serving thing per day." I think we often forget that. i work as a cashier in a grocery store and i've found that the more i smile and keep my face looking happy and welcoming, the less angry and miserable customers i seem to have:) it's so true that a smile makes all the difference. great video! ps i hope i'll be seeing you at buffer fest:) xx
