Moneyball and The Big Short author: 'Future pandemics could be worse'

The independent inquiry announced into the UK's handling of the pandemic is sure to examine whether early warning signs were missed.

It's a question being asked around the world.

A new book ,'The Premonition: A Pandemic Story'- focuses on a motley group of scientists who claim they saw the COVID outbreak coming.

Sky's Jonathan Samuels spoke to Michael Lewis the author, who also wrote Moneyball and The Big Short.

If governors wouldn't have sent covid positive patients into nursing homes I think that 20% would be a bit less. Also some of the states worried more about what money they get if people die, rather than actually caring about the sick
