Being young i wasnt aware of the crisis as it happened and didnt feel a personal impact, and i came to the movie and thought it would be a Wolf Of Wall Street type movie, but i was pleasantly surprised by it, it was surprisingly informative and educational but still delighted and kept me interested as much as a Wolf Of Wall Street. This is a incredibly insightful and very thought-provoking film on how both global banking, and other financial institutions, really operate.
Furthermore you, most definitely, need to watch The Big Short at least twice, to both fully understand and truly appreciate, what is exactly happening throughout the movie.
