It's ok. I'd preferred a oled, especially for night reading. I'm not bothered by the notch if you can hide it or it's well integrated in the UI. Anyway, whatever the starting price will be, it'll be too high.

You were a little incorrect regarding the part about LG V10/V20 second screen. It's not OLED. It's just a separate LCD with an independent illumination. Still useful though.

Its nice to see that lg still merge ild with new and do not go away from things are good but rather put new features on the top.

The V10 and V20 did not have an OLED second screen. It's just a separate backlight from the main display. That's why there were backlight bleed issues on those phones.

I hate the notch but this phone at least has .1" more display so maybe setting the notch area to black leaves us around 6" to watch videos on.

I really don't understand why it has a notch when it has a large top bezel too. But it looks way better in hand than on the leaks we've seen so far until now. I'll give it a try before deciding to purchase it or not.

The rgbw display was first introduced by Sony with Xperia p. They call it white magic display.

It makes you wonder, what is the point of the V series anymore. Originally the Quad DAC and "second screen" are reserved for the V but now everything except the mics have bridged over.

Everyone asking why this notch phone has a chin? It has a kick a$$ quad DAC and boom box sound. Also, u can hide the notch. Wide angle has been a game changer for me with the G6. I really like and want this G7. Good job LG.
