Thanks for the review. Have you also shoot both cameras at night? I'm curious to see the difference between those cameras when shooting at night. But i love to see timeshift mode on One X. It's a lot better than my current 360 camera (gear 2017 ver)😂

I would love either camera. But if I had to choose one, I would go for the Gopro Hero7 Black. My hero4 session has been through tough situations and I still use it to this day. But in some aspects, the session holds me back (such as night time lapses and no stabilization whatsoever). Good luck to everyone! (but the Insta360 ONE X is an awesome camera haha)

since there are some people who's still confused whether choosing one x or gopro7. In my opinion, go pro has more contrast, sharpness, great hdr. But, one x has an amazing timelapse (timeshift) and of course 360.
I hope you also have one section added to this review, which is night-view shoot with gp7 vs one x. 😀👍

The audio of the insta is lacking but I am gob-smacked with the video of it. I did not know that it would be so simple to record 360 video. I believed that it would require a larger set of cameras. I have never owned a video camera so I can't say what I would use it for. But the door is there and the possibilities are endless. Well I really like the videos that you do and keep it up.

Snow Skiing, hiking, and biking and even motorcycling when mounted safely would be my uses. Possibly shallow scuba diving would work with the case given enough light and water clarity. Nice job on video, I am pretty intrigued on this insta 360 camera One X since I just got back from Big Sky, Montana and my GoPro took a dive and didn’t work on my trip, had to resort to still photos and videos especially 360 videos would have made the trip video summary so much more dynamic and immersive! 👍🇺🇸⛷🎿

Well spoken. As a One X user I am primarily 360 oriented rather than action cam oriented (at age 69 I will probably not skydive out of too many airplanes). However I view every One X video that I can find to get different perspectives on the came's usage. I thought I had updated to the most recent PC app, but was not aware of the keyframes until you mentioned them in this video. If you don't mind point me/us in the right direction re: finding/using that keyframe set up. So far I am only using it to convert to mp4 video. I edit on PowerDirector. BTW: You got a thumbs up from me.
