#MoneyMondaysJa - WHAT IS A STOCK SPLIT?

Jamaican Teas recently announced a 3 for 1 stock split, effective end of business on April 1, 2020. How will that affect shareholders and the company? Basically, it's six of one and half a dozen of the other - no difference.

Stock split is definitely a good thing with the main benefit being MORE DIVIDENDS. It surely makes the stock more attractive as well. I guarantee that company like NCB would come in for more trading after a stock split. With a $200 share price make the price an attractive buy for a lot of persons.

Hey Kalilah how does a shareholder benefit from a stock spilt??? Would it be by more dividend paid or stock price appreciation if it starts trading more volume???
