I was reading Bill Gates and Mark Cuban both billionaires talking about paying more taxes.
Cuban said something that could boost your program. He said the best way to improve workers standard of living is by selling the shares in the company they work for. He then sited a company he owned when he sold it 300 of his workers became instant millionaires because they owned company stocks. The company Cuban owned was Broadcast.com 300 of 330 employees became instant millionaires when it was sold to Yahoo, because those 300 bought company stocks. He said the best way to reduce wealth inequalities is by employees owning stocks in the company they work for, not trickle down economics.
Bill Gates said also he would support capital gains taxes.
