Best value for 2020? RADON RENDER carbon ebike from €3999

All new for 2020 this is the Radon Render. I'm super impressed with the spec... Only thing next is to test the bike to see how it rides!

All models feature the same frame featuring a carbon front triangle and an aluminium rear

- 65° head-angle, seat-angle 75,5°, chainstays 458mm
- 29” wheels
- 150mm travel at the front (8.0 / 9.0 / 10.0), 140mm in the rear.
- Top Spec RENDER 10.0 HD has 160mm in front
- Bosch Performance Gen4 and 625 Wh detachable battery in all models
- Three different sizes: M / L / XL
- Internal cable routing

The RADON RENDER comes in four different models:
- RADON RENDER 8.0 – 3.999€
- RADON RENDER 9.0 – 4.799€
- RADON RENDER 10.0 - 5.499€
- RADON RENDER 10.0 HD – 6.499€

Just a quick edit - realised in my commentary I got the GBP exchange incorrect, it's around £5,523 - NOT £5300 as I mentioned. I was a few hundred pounds under, sorry was late recording this one!!

Realised I made a slight error on the GBP pricing for the Render 10.0 HD - its around £5500, not £5200. Still, pretty good pricing! Looking forward to testing it ASAP! What do you guys think?

Well I've owned radon slide carbon 160 10 since 2015, took the blind buy gamble and came out smiling. I Still own the bike.
Unfortunately though today I had my first experience with a ebike (trek) wow.... What a game changer, now I'm set on selling the slide and buying the render 10 HD.
So much bang for ya buck...

I really like the look of this bike, great spec and ridiculous value for money, the rear tyre should be a double down, not a fan of the huge elastic band holding the battery to eliminate rattle, and for a 2020 e-bike the speed sensor should be better integrated, the old school spoke magnet is just that, old school, also, for the top spec, I think they should have had more colour options, the BIG plus for me is that they have service partners meaning if you order through them it gets shipped quicker as Radon don't need to build the bike, their service partners build the bike up for you ensuring everything works as it should, also, ant warranty issues are undertaken by their service partners, a pretty welcome partnership in my opinion.

Very nice looking bike, any idea on the sizing between the Lg and XL? I’m in between a Lg and XL depending on the measurements.

Very interested in this bike. But will only commit after your review. As I know it will be an honest one. On there website it says the weight is 23kg for a size small. Does that seem heavy to you. Or in the ball park of other manufacturers?

The wireless shifting is self-adjusting.... utterly brilliant on my road bike, less faff and more cycling!
