Magnitude 5.1 earthquake rocks near Ojai in Ventura County

In 1971 i was in high school and was 8 miles from the 6.6 sylmar quake ...the straight line distance from ojai to sylmar is about 30ish miles..fairly sure they caught at least 5.0 of it

The scary part is saying they haven't had one like this since 1941. The worst part of an earthquake is structures or inexperienced people not capable of handling it. While soothing or fun for some, this is large enough of a shake for something to come falling down.

This is continuing to happen in California. Very scary. We are having more and more small earth quakes as if a pot of water is starting to boil. The small quakes are getting bigger as they continue to boil underneath us.
