YSL Lawyer Demands Mistrial Over Retired Investigator's Testimony

Defense attorney Max Schardt requested a mistrial on Wednesday morning after retired investigator Lakea Gaither testified on YSL affiliate Quindarrius Zachary's interrogation. Gaither testified that he wanted to speak to her to give his truth. Judge Paige Reese Whitaker denied the motion. "This is never going to end," the ex-investigator seemingly said.

Young Thug faces nearly a dozen charges, including possession of drugs and weapons, participation in criminal street gang activity, and conspiracy to violate Georgia’s RICO Act. The rapper was arrested in May of 2022 along with 27 other alleged gang members. Many of those defendants have taken plea deals in the case.
