Love your videos. I have something bad going on inside the gearcase or maybe the clutch. not sure which but sometimes when i take off it makes a horrible sound like my kickstand is dragging on the ground but its not. Sometimes with the sound it jerks a bit for a few feet. Only occasionally and more so when its hot outside. Other times it runs smooth, quiet and perfectly. Do you have any idea what may be causing this noise?

I was in an accident with mine (crashed into a bicyclist) which resulted it to lay on it's exhaust side but when i rode home i noticed lot's of oil coming from the airflter (opposite side) and a fairly large amount of drop in power..
What's your take? All the oil everywhere except the engine itself?

Any ideas on a popping sound on pressing the ignition switch? (Honda Forza 300) a One off pop that seems to only happen once engine is cold. No noises whilst riding the scooter

My taotao gy6 is reving by itself and engaging the back wheel trying to drive through the garage door and take a spin around the block all by itself. I've spent hours with the carb screws, throttle cable and adjusted the valves. Now I'm down to the clutch and variatior. I got it used and it only had about 20ml of gear oil in it. I hate this thing but I love it at the same time . I've learned a lot of new stuff over the past couple months.

Thanks for the easy to follow vid! I have an ‘09 Tao Tao 150cc that I recently noticed when idling and rear brake is engaged the is a knocking sound coming from belt housing or rear wheel. Noise stops when I release the brake. Would appreciate any thoughts.

Hi, what if it's not making noise but the flywheel just keeps spinning and the bike won't start? I've seen some vids say it's the starter clutch, but one person will say it's the thing under the flywheel while another person will say it's inside the kickstart gear box. Which part is actually the starter gear?

I hear a loud CLANK! at start up. Def metal. I have changed the starter. I have a gy6 taotao 150cc scooter. Could it be the bendix? It's def coming from the flywheel side. My bendix is not on the cvt cover side.

how about if there is a knocking during idle gear and after throttling? but if you are in hi rpm or throttling the knocking sound gone and sometime even in idle gear or after throttling there is no sound..what would be the problem of this sir any advice?

I put an 80cc big bore kit in. After I finished, it was very chatty. Checked the valve clearance, valve springs, timing chain tensioner, timing chain guide. Everything good. Did a test-adjusted the valves to zero (tappet touching the valve) and ran the engine. Tapping sound went away. Readjusted the valves to .004. Sound came back. I’m assuming at this point that that’s how this make/model engine is supposed to run. Outside of that-plenty of power. Starts right up on the first try.

Hi got a 50cc gy6 scooter, at 30 mph + getting a rubbing noise and can feel it under foot to the variator clutch side of bike .It gets stronger as I accelerate, was thinking could e the belt as I haven't changed it for about 8 thousand miles.any ideas?thanks in advance Carl from England UK.

Hiya I've got a new leeway falcon stealth from scooter wherehouse its brand new I've done only 91 miles and there is a grinding sound when I try to accelerate really worried as it my second scooter in 4 months don't have the money to replace a second scoot help please

i have kymco movie 125cc whenever pass 80km ( used to be at 100km but after 2 week become do that in 80km does wired sound i can't tell where its come from tbh does look like from engin but shouldn't do that on only 80km if that the case i'm really lost and i don't know where i go with this problme any help or tip would be wonderfull thx and sorry for my bad englihs

I HAVE A VISPA ET2 THATS MAKEING A BAD NOSE CANT FIGEURE IT OUT MAY BE YOU CAN HELP ME OUT JUST PUT A NEW HEAD AND PISTON WAS A 50C BUTT PUT A BIG BORE HEAD AND MADE IT A 70CC BE COUSE THE 50CC PISTON RING BROKE SO UP SIZE BUT IM GETTING THE SAME NOSE AS BE FOR THE LAST TIME. BEARINGS IN THE MOTOR ARE GOOD HAVE YOU AVE CAME A CROSS THIS PROBLEM.. IM SO MAHH
