I love the Montessori-inspired activities you shared! We also do a lot of montessori at home, and it really doesn't have to be expensive. We have also scored at the local library a few times, as they have let us keep books for free when they get more :)

I buy the small photo albums from the dollar store and put a mix of the flashcards (letters, numbers, colors, shapes, etc) in them and keep them stashed in different places. They're great for the car or your purse when you're on the go or at a restaurant! Love all of the tips!

I love the ideas! I have flash cards from my teaching days and I use them with my toddler daughter to help grow her vocabulary. I've used the Dollar Tree lacing cards with students and I'll have to find some for my daughter. Great video!

I get the kids a book for every holiday were gifts are given. I usually hit up the after holiday clearance and save for the following year.

We are big fans of flash cards as well! Your never to old to benefit from flash cards. Books as well. We've bought from the Library sale before but often ours doesn't carry kids books in their sales. We also big fans of the Story Time type channels on Youtube. In a pinch for a new book or holiday books we don't have on hand we always resort to Youtube. There are a few really good ones... My Lost Book Bag, Storytime with Erin, Nanny Storytime.

I love the sheet protector idea. I've also used press and seal in a pinch! Thanks for another great video.

I loved teaching little children - so I home educated lol! Part of me would love to teach children, but these days it's tough in schools here in the UK! I'll stick to baking cookies, bread and pastries in the big store I work in!

Extremley late and not a mom but check whats considered "Your older downtown" where you live. I have two used book stores in mine where things gets pretty cheap as a lot of the books dont have actual price tags on them. In some libraries they have used bookstores where they pretty much just sell former library books that were taking out of the ststem.

Good Morning from Oregon. I was so excited to see a new video posted this morning. I have watched so many of your videos and the ones you recommended. I just love your boys. <3 and you. I am a 59 year old Nanny and the boys I take care of are almost 3 and almost 5. Many of your amazing ideas go with e to their house. Your DIY's are amazing and I LOVE shopping Dollar Tree with you.
