Man, when the HTC One M7 came out, it was the coolest phone I'd ever seen.

Stereo front facing speakers. Changed my world.

HTC phones were my favorite. They had the best speakers I've ever used on a mobile phone and they always felt premium and ahead of their time.
I use Google Pixels now but would love for HTC to come back.

HTC changed from High Tech Corp. to “Help This Company”. Companies rise and fall, hopefully they can rise back again.

Having worked at HTC from 2010 to 2013 doing go to market (GTM)marketing, I would agree with you on a lot of these things, especially on management. HTC management was so f××ked up, undermining how great the product was. I launched about 20 phones for HTC at the time, mainly for the t-mobile account, from the HTC Sensation 4G (fun fact, Peter Chou wanted to call the phone the Passion 4G, I sort of overrode him on that awful name), a bunch of mytouch devices, the Wildfire S, the HTC ONE S and X and the Amaze 4G (sad to see it was mentioned in the video as one of the phones with poor naming convention).

I left for Samsung and helped launch the GS4 and Note3 in the US. While the company operations was much more professional, but I definitely felt more like a cog in a machine than the control I had at HTC.

I remember using my HTC One M8 for the first time. That’s something you don’t forget. That’s not a phone you forget.

I remembered HTC, they were everywhere during the early 2010s. Their phones were reliable too. Such a shame.

I had two htc's over the years, starting in 2009, totally approved of both. Always wondered what happened to the company. Samsung did.

When you said "Let's see the rise and fall of HTC", I was saddened. HTC has a special place in my heart. From my first ever smartphone HTC Velocity to the reknowned HTC M8 and finally the HTC 10. I've only ever had four smartphones in my life, and HTC makes up 75%. They were amazing pieces of engineering.

I still remember seeing my friend holding his HTC one phone. Looks sleeker than iPhone 4 I had IMO. Also, my dad had an HTC PDA back in 2008 and I almost always take his phone everytime he was distracted to play some games on it.

I loved my HTC Desire, it was my first smartphone and it was so great. I'd love to see HTC come back at some point with a game changing mobile device and re-establish themselves in the space.

I loved my HTC One. The aluminum design, always on software, and all around quality were impressive, even the pixel binning technology turned out great photos from the camera!

Why I like HTC phones:

- stereo speakers
- aluminium unibody
- minimal bezels
- futuristic design
