Points are some of the best spots to fish year round, but especially during summertime.

Here’s why:

- There is lots of current (which provides cooler water and acts like a conveyor belt at a sushi restaurant bringing predator fish easy meals)
- There is lots of bait available
- There are plenty of ambush spots

But if you really want to be successful at fishing points, it’s more than just knowing that they hold feeding fish… you also have to know how to fish them.

In this video, you’ll learn how to do just that, as well as:

- How to find the best points
- How to position your bait or lure to catch more fish
- How to quickly tell if a point is holding feeding fish
- And much more

We’ve got a lot of fun fish-catching footage in this video (it’s not just theory!), so I know you’re going to love it.

Great information! Also, thank you for going over all the information quickly instead of wasting our time with a bunch of useless info making it 15 minutes long. Im sure I speak for several others when I say i appreciate it. Will definitely have to remember these tips.

Thanks for posting. It makes me think about direction of the current and positioning that much more.

I could have used this advise yesterday...haha. I had good luck in those areas but didn't really know why. I'm new to fishing for reds and trout. Your tips have been right on...thanks!

Great video! Audio tip : take the Yeti Mic you’re using and set it upright in front of you - don’t tilt it. The yeti is a forward address microphone rather than a top address, so you’ll get more out of it that way.

Newbie here. great info, but presented a little too quickly for me. To recap. I cast three times towards a point with a deep drop. If productive, I position my back to the point and cast away from it depending on the current. Is that correct?

Interesting video. That looks like a Blue Yeti mic. If so, don’t it point at your face, keep it upright.

If fish are cold blooded (and I'm pretty sure they are) then they're comfortable at any temperature that doesn't destroy their internal organs or blood flow (which is damn near any temperature range a body of water that contains fish achieves).
