The first one was one of my fave cozy games, so I'm excited to dive into this one. It's a fun title to unwind and relax

For those wondering if you should get it based off enjoyment, I'd say while it is different from many games, it is a nice way to unwind after a long day if you dont feel like doing much or playing something competitive. It is everything you'd expect from a game called house flipper, and if you are creative/enjoying designing things, you might find yourself getting lost in it for hours. Definitely worth checking out

I didn't expect you to review this. I'm pleasantly surprised! I've been quite excited about House Flipper 2; I loved the first one. It's unfortunate that the performance isn't great, but I'll probably get it tomorrow anyway and hope for a performance patch soon. Thanks Karak!

The first one was such a good game when you came out of a busy period and had forgotten what games were. That right amount of noodle game design that you can just pick it up do one house and move on or just have it as a continual cosy loop without the DLC nonsense of the Sims.

A lot of the cleaning sims never caught my eye but hearing you talk about it on the podcast and seeing it in action has got me curious, I like to clean and add stuff in real life but being able to do it without the high risks and rewards seems neat. Just wish I could switch out my cleaning and construction stuff just as easy as in a game. Finding the broom, going out to get more of cleaner A and so forth sucks but still adds to accomplishment

I think it's time for these type of games to think about going VR hybrid as standard. As a lover of these kind of games, to me it seems the only natural progression for the genre.

If I wife caught me playing this, she would be furious. We have always have house chores that need to be done, and I don't think she'd be cool me with me doing those in a video game but not in real life. At least with Car Mechanic Simulator she's okay with, she doesn't want me taking apart the car.
Maybe real life needs achievements so reward me for house chores and I'd be more inclined to get to them quicker.

part 1 was better in order to put bath u needed to place pipes first now is all for I pad kids full of colors to keep ur eyes hurt and dopamine rush on maximum

Thank you for a very nice and clear review. Was hung up on whether to buy it on release, hearing about the rough performance is definitely a wait-a-bit-longer sign for me. I hate it when my games aren't buttery smooth. Guess I'll keep my eye on it cause this is the kind of relax, casual game I enjoy now and then.

My biggest question that I ask myself is how can I have fun cleaning houses in house flipper meanwhile my room looks like the local landfill
