what is the differnce between the sector by sector clone, also can you clone the harddisk if you are using the operating system at the time?

Just a note to EVERYBODY, the UI is totally different in most versions . ie this is the technician version where as the EaseUS Todo Backup Home 5.6 is different

If you are restoring a backed up system partition to a new HDD, as when, in your example, your old HDD failed and you bought a bigger one, don't you have to check the box "Recover to dissimilar hardware"?

Mathewmartialart the video shows 6.0, and you say about old 5.6. 
Thats the difference. The 6.0 and even 6.5 home looks totally the same way as on video.
