AMD never misses an opportunity to miss an opportunity

It also just occurred to me how weird it is that AMD won’t hesitate to reference their partnership with Xbox and PlayStation, yet year after year Nvidia is deathly silent about their partnership with Nintendo.

The 40CU APU is the only thing I cared about this entire presentation

I like how you leave the comment section open, unlike a certain competitor.

Now please, all I'm asking for is a midrange gaming 14" or 15" laptop in a good chassis, like a Zenbook. Surely you can conjure up a GPU that can do that.

Dear AMD, competition got you hard. You need to react very fast to win. 1. STXH will kill 5090 in AI, just advertise it. 2. increase money to GPU division, 3. 4xfg as fast as possible, even with only antilag2, 4. 399 for 7090xt, 5. Make fsr4 work on rdna3, even if 20% slower. Act fast, you guys can still win this. STXH will earn money. Or give up and go only iGPU from now on.

When graphics cards are weak, this conference was a pity that you didn't show everything

I hate what AMD just did in CES, whatever their strategy is, I already lost huge confidence on what's coming in rdna4, I was expecting something incredible since am using rdna2 and then rdna3 for quite sometime, this gona be a Big L for you if you don't come up with something really good to show off.

I think this look at the two companies is good because it addresses philosophies that are important. But what I don't understand about most analysts is the assessment of the two companies based on their focus on AI and profit. For me, that's like comparing beans with papaya.
Nvidia has great technology in the area of AI and consumer graphics cards. Both segments are based on graphics card technology.
In both areas, Nvidia earns high margins and also has high prices.
Nvidia's AI customers are all large customers like Tesla with enormous investments in AI hardware and purchases of huge quantities. But you can count the number of customers on one hand and maybe one or two more fingers have been added. But on the other hand, the number of so few customers is also a hot topic.
If you look at the statistics in the area of consumer graphics cards, Nvidia is also in the lead. But that is determined by the high number of Nvidia GPUs in the lower segment and is based on the narrow-mindedness of users. Because GPUs from GTX 1650 to RTX 4060, which make up the majority, do not deliver what AMD GPUs in the same price segment do. Ray tracing performance of these RTX 4060 cards is actually not usable, not even with DSSL at high graphics settings. The mass of cards makes Nvidia appear good, but the rating is based on fanboy behavior and not on the performance of a technology and is fueled by investor behavior.
The market on which Nvidia operates is financially very potent in the AI sector but small, large in the consumer sector, but won over by the majority of fanboys who would have much more powerful graphics cards with AMD for the same or less money. The market for expensive consumer GPUs in the upper mid-range and high-end class, such as 4090/5090, is very small.
AMD, on the other hand, operates on a much larger market.
Whether console segment, desktop CPUs or large data centers and hyperscale applications; AMD is the first choice. AMD's AI technology appeals to completely different customer segments than Nvidia.
The Ryzen AI 300 CPUs have set new standards in the laptop segment in 2023 and with the new AI 300 Max CPUs, the sales market will continue to grow in 2025 with over 150 new laptop designs, as will the enterprise market with Epic and AMD's Instinct. The largest and most advanced models run smoothly on these Instinct data center GPUs with the highest performance per dollar. Above all, many more customers can afford this technology than Nvidia technology. And AMD develops and implements individual solutions for every requirement. That is also unique. For me it is therefore clear: AMD is completely undervalued. They deserve far more investor trust.

Pausing to silently demand claps was saddening and hilarious. I want you all to succeed or at least not embarrass yourself. I will never forget the pausing for applause that people weren't ready to give.

AMD knows that he made a huge improvement with X3D. He's now using it as a marketing material.

Talking about productivity, Intel made a wise decision to with more cores and threads.

Adding more cores to an X3D will not make a cpu better for both purposes necessary. Time will show.

Spoken about productivity, give more realistic examples, and why or how will 50 tops of 'AI' enhance in this use case.
