I learned never to make an EE mouth shape, even when singing EE. Every vowel practically is sung with as square a mouth as possible. Otherwise you get a vowel shift and your EE will sound like yeah. You have to close the vowels back down because they tend to shift toward more open vowels as you belt. The other reason for making the square is that you are not peeling your lips back over your teeth, an action which in itself makes your voice get tight. If you are always pushing forward and also very importantly keeping a good soft palate chamber, it's more natural for your voice to stay relaxed.

I often belt by thinking in terms of exclamations. A note that is really hard to hit can seem suddenly easy when you change the words to "what is THAT??! What are you DOING in here?? who ARE you??" With no particular melody in mind, but just including that note that you fear in the CAPS where I've shown.

Given the title of your video, I am surprised you don't mentioned warm ups at any point. It is the number one fault of most singers, failure to warm up.

Harmonies! Help... Is there a trick, I follow our lead singers melody like a sheep, not adding much in the way of harmonic interest.

Hi, nice to cover Jan Sullivan's pioneering work. Have you seen the video with examples for her students? I had a copy and it was great.

You glossed over male belting a little -- Sullivan says all women can belt, all TENORS and SOME baritones/baritenors. For the men who can't do a true belt she says can use the same vowel modifications and do what she terms a quasi-belt. I've never seen the other belt teachers talk about male voice types and belting.

I totally hoped they would cover "Be" for a male voice. Specifically for when "Be" is belted out in the line Where you long to BE in The Phantom of the Opera, The Music of the Night. Wow, thank you!

Please react to Morissette Amon singing Akin ka nalang, Rise up and All against Odds. She is called the Asia's Phoenix in the Philippines 'cos she whistles like a bird and sing like an angel. I hope you can react to this amazing and phenomenal singer of all time. Btw, Your reaction is on point, So love it!

Guess I don't like pop singing. It is grating.
